Can he make me one in Pink Gold Metallic Matte? I just received an email from the shop in Poitiers that I thought I bought the EHB1000S-PMM from. Was it the ship notice? No, it was a “Dear John” letter. “Dear John, Unfortunately, someone came in our shop and bought it. Bye bye.” Grrrr. Yet another example of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Guess I’ll just stick with the seafoam green one I already have.
Just contact him!

Thanks for the follow-up. Guitar-Lounge shows a 10-20 day delivery time. That didn’t generate any good feelings or trust. So, I tried Musichaus Karami. I added the bass to the warenkorb, then displayed it. I was greeted not by the shopping cart, but by this:
Ab Montag 16 September 2024 wird Musikhaus Karami Geschichte sein.
Leider muss ich weitersuchen.
I think asking 13Ghost is a good idea. I’ll go that route in a couple of days after post-holiday recovery. I created an account on Bassic.de und jetzt warte auf eine Bestätigung durch einen Administrator.
The bass gods don’t want you to buy a pink headless bass! Listen to them
See my edit above. Good thing I speak German. I’m not fluent anymore like I was 50 years ago, but my German is WAY better than my French.
Yeah - great! Bassic is also a cool forum. They are very open (and serious) about all my nonsense. And there are some very knowledgeable bass builders and electronics guys (and gals!!!) on that forum.
It’s not as funny as over here though
Wenn du Hilfe brauchst: sag Bescheid!
He shoots…
…he scores???
That instantly reminded me of the time Phil Lesh played a decorated broomstick when the Dead were forced to lip-sync a song way back when.
And the hockey bassist is playing through a v1 or v2 (more likely) Fender Rumble! Coolio.
So it’s a similar idea to the Kubicki Ex factor
I see a lot of criticism of this design on forums… but I agree with you it’s a beautiful look… except the price
Anyone slandering the Bongo is wrong.
I I’ve those totally blacked out Bongos!
No
Me too, just totally cool looking instruments.
3 year backlog on custom Dingwalls! Selling like hotcakes.
I need to go down there one day… Saskatoon is like only 8 hrs away
This must be a difficult period for them (not being sarcastic here).
What to do? Get more people in, risking that they are not as qualified as the current staff, not as trained, not as experienced, and thus risk QC issues etc. down the line, which could compromise the brand’s reputation?
Or have people wait 3 and more years and potentially leave them feeling frustrated, tired of waiting, looking for alternatives, giving up on the brand?
