I’d do the Tahitian Pink but that’s me lolol
If I do the pink, it’ll be the shell pink that they have in stock atm. The Tahitian coral won’t be available for a few months still.
I am a big shell pink fan. I did shell pink for the bronco and did not even look for tahitian
i’d go silver sparkle but i’m kind of partial to sparkle/metallic finishes
Not really my aesthetic, but it’s got a lot of personality and I’d strongly consider it if I was buying one.
Both aesthetics are right in my wheel house, I’m leaning towards the silver sparkle though. If I ever get on a stage with it, I’m gonna light up like a disco ball. That seems freakin cool.
Watching an old White Zombie video earlier, I was reminded of how cool I thought this bass of Sean Yseult’s is.
Same here. When I saw the Root Beer Sparkle finish on the Reverend Wattplower Mk 2, I HAD to have one. The photos look good. It looks even better in person. IMO, the sparkle headstock is very cool!
!!!
That’s the one that’s on it’s way here.
Love mine. A beauty.
1989 Yamaha MB-IIIR
This ticks a lot of boxes.
- red
- slanted P/J
- SBV-style headstock
- string-through bridge
- very nice cutout with a solid looking neck join
- Yamaha branded hardware but looks Gotoh to me; the tuners definitely are
- 34" scale with a thin 36mm nut

It’s downunda:
@TNKA36 @Gloucestre fyi too
That is literally down the road from me
Sleek design
Sharp looking Bass for sure. Pretty contemporary or modern looking for something that is 36 years old. Nothing wrong with that. I like the design of it.
Ticks all boxes for me too except for headstock. I like the Samurai for its unique overall aesthetic.
Love the simple ingenious way they the do the 4 bolt but still provide contour to the upper frets. I’m warming up to the headstock. I am, I am.
Nice blacked out Sire MM there!
