Bass Porn

clear, hands down winner for me, even over the Dingwall in terms of looks. What a sweet set of angles.

Too traditional, very tame for high end SRs IMO. But they are the Prestige and not the Premiums (which usually get the cool finishes).

They are awesome but I would prefer something more.

I normally dislike trade shows but NAMM is fun to spectate

Anyone else get Jonny Dibble’s In the Pocket podcast freebie email newsletter for NAMM 2025? In it he gives updates on around 8 or 9 new Basses from various makers and a some gear…

Any way his favorite was from Models — LEH Guitars
called the Voyager.

Its got a funky head-stock but according to him it played and sounded great.

ahh that’s probably what I’m thinking of. :+1:

Actually though I’ve said it before, I like the Sire headstocks quite a bit more than Fender’s at this point. At least they look like they are the right size.

Damn that blue one looks great, plus Fishmans

We’ll see what local availability and pricing is like but that purple one may end up being mine. If they roll with the listed dollar price here it will be up in the range of a used MusicMan, though, which would be no bueno.

Personally, I don’t on the bundle on the blue…

The Ori looks cool, but I’m a self-confessed Dingwall fan-boy

I’m sure they will sell out the initial run fast. but $800 new is still half of a used bongo on reverb. however, I also have a feeling you will see an uptick on used bongos soon.

Honestly I think it’s the best looking EHB yet by far, and it definitely has the best stock pickups yet. But looks are subjective, sure.

I’m a little slow at picking up on this, bit literally laughed out loud when I realized it.

So it’s the ā€œOri Enjiā€, right? Enji. Enji… NG? Nolly Getgood? :exploding_head:

This bass looks like it belongs to the Mighty Mighty Bosstones… Or at least that’s the impression that I get…
