The top wood is Cocobolo and the knobs are Pale Moon Ebony, just like the fretboard. Expensive choices. This is a one-off custom.

ooh that is pretty. the headstock reminds me of a bongo’s, which is a shape you don’t see that often (although you should).

If I were in the market for another unique P bass besides my Cutlass, this is the only brand new, “road worn” one that has ever drawn me to it.
And, yeah, “Ugh, it’s got a burst…and tort!!!”, yada, yada, yada. Don’t like it? Cool beans.

Exactly right. The Hammerhead I posted is a cool $4300 (Edit: USA shipping is free; duty fee is extra).
Still, the workmanship is stunning, and it is a passive bass! The buttons are for splitting each coil!
