The top wood is Cocobolo and the knobs are Pale Moon Ebony, just like the fretboard. Expensive choices. This is a one-off custom.
Had this. Did not like at all. Didn’t you buy the bridge from me? Lol
Was that you? . I have a couple extra, I also have a couple extra babicz too.
send them to me
Wow. Guess I am going to have to find out what shipping to the States is. Could be my first HB right there. So little NEED… so much WANT.
ooh that is pretty. the headstock reminds me of a bongo’s, which is a shape you don’t see that often (although you should).
If I were in the market for another unique P bass besides my Cutlass, this is the only brand new, “road worn” one that has ever drawn me to it.
And, yeah, “Ugh, it’s got a burst…and tort!!!”, yada, yada, yada. Don’t like it? Cool beans.
Exactly right. The Hammerhead I posted is a cool $4300 (Edit: USA shipping is free; duty fee is extra).
Still, the workmanship is stunning, and it is a passive bass! The buttons are for splitting each coil!
Oh man those push buttons! I’d be fidgeting with them the entire time I was on stage. click, click. click, click.

Nice one!
In honor of Valentine’s day I’ve commissioned this piece.
It is titled: “Dad how are P/J basses made?”
That one has a beer belly like me!
