It just sounded like @MikeC also had a new one coming in!?!?

Nope. Just hoping to hear from the powers that be that Booker’s Jabba is off the bench and en route to him. Fingers crossed. :crossed_fingers:

I am not going to drop the cheddar on one any time soon but damn…

I could easily see falling in love with an Ori Enji.

I’d do one of those before I’d do a Dingwall tbh. Really dig the Ori.

You oughta plug one in at a nearby store and take ā€˜er for a spin. You just might decide that that second kidney of yours is overrated.

True. At least in Germany I haven’t seen one in ages. The last time I saw one must have been 20 years ago. And I picked him up, why not, but I had my sister in the car who asked me afterwards whether I had gone crazy because she was kind of afraid.

It was great when I was traveling in the former Ostblock (Croatia and Slovenia) about 2 or 3 years ago, and there I saw quite many hitchhikers and I picked them up whenever possible.

We were in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia at that time and didn’t see any hitchhikers :frowning:

My girlfriend feels uncomfortable when we pick up hitchhikers … but I see it as my ā€œdutyā€ to pick them up. I clearly remember how sh#tty it was in the 80s, when I waited for hours at one spot, with hundreds of empty cars passing by.

There and then I swore to myself that I would offer a ride to any hitchhiker when I grow up and have a car…

What is going on with that? Why does it have extra holes?

If I was to hazard a guess, I’d say there were two holes where a tug bar might go, and then two holes on either side of the neck pickup for a pickup cover.

Ill take the orangešŸ˜

Yep, that makes sense looking at it. But why on earth would you send out an instrument like that? Boy, that’s tacky.

When Fender puts out an instrument that is to replicate some specific period instrument, they go to those small details. Many think they are dumb.

since it’s a signature instrument, the selectors might have actually asked for it as well.

My guess is Tomomi had one of the many vintage Fender reissues that include all the design flaws as her main bass and so when they made her signature model they made it one of those.

Not a fan of how the pick guard covers so much of the gorgeous paint, otherwise :star_struck:
