I think it’s a sleek, one-piece pickguard design for a Jazz. Of course, this bass would look amazing with no pickguard at all. I love F basses, my fave Canadian custom shop.

I love the pickguard. It’s the pickup cover I don’t care for, simply because I don’t like them in general.

Yep, the pup guard’s not everyone’s cup of tea. But it does come off easily enough.
That said, hand this baby as is to Marcus and stand back. The man does magic with that pup protector on.

I made the mistake of playing my buddy’s very custom Roscoe bass. I wasn’t sure whether to list it in the GAS thread or here, as now I’m ready to sell all my basses and have one of these built. I can’t really adequately describe it, it’s a level of quality that I just never knew existed, and now I can’t un-know it. Thing was perfect, sounded amazing, and was so intuitive to play, it practically played itself. I don’t know any other way to describe it other than to say it was just on a completely different level than anything I’ve played. Ugh.

Really cool color though, I totally love all the Fender Japan limited colors. And of course she is great, glad to see her get a signature model
