I’m pretty sure someone on this forum has one.
I’ve got the MK I, which is just your plain Jane run of the mill short scale P bass. I love the pickups in that bass (considering picking some up for a project bass). @TheMaartian has a MK II in rootbeer. I’m not actively saving for any basses atm but if I was, it would be for one of the green MK II’s.

ETA: This is the one that I just threw the 50 - 105 Elixirs on. Being short scale, I wanted something a little chonkier, so far really like the sound of that G string.
Cool.
love the little detail of the truss rod cover. Brilliant.
Add me to the list. Just ordered it
10% back in GC bucks, free ship to store. 6 mos financing for free. Can always return it if I don’t love it but it’s so interesting had to do it.

Yes yellow. Some bad reviews of the root beer sparkle quality
I clearly remember how sh#tty it was in the 80s, when I waited for hours at one spot, with hundreds of empty cars passing by.
Exactly. This is also the reason why I pick them up. Back in the days it was pretty much a topic, and there was much talk like “don’t pickup hitchhikers, it’s dangerous!” as well as “don’t hitchhike, it’s dangerous!”. Today it seems to me like it is not even a topic anymore, at least in Germany.
Well, I can understand that some people (especially women) are not comfortable with it but I have never had any unpleasant encounters. Maybe I was only lucky, or maybe I’m sufficiently terrifying. ![]()

Then I’ll count my blessings. Mine was flawless when I bought it 2 years ago, and still is. Good thing, because it was: a) expensive and b) even more expensive with the 20% French VAT.
Is it just me or does that neck join and bolt pattern design seem kinda marginal
I noticed that the choice of placing the two upper screws off-center, with no counter-balancing screws, seems precarious. ![]()
For a rock-solid carved neck join that aids in playing upper fret positions, Mayones does it extremely well.
It’s odd, agreed, and the lack of symmetry makes my eye twitch a little. But have to believe that Roger surely knows what he’s doing here.
It looks like the neck stays full thickness until past there. I don’t think it would worry me.
A basic P but the pine body looks nice:

It looks like a pickle. I’m kind of into it but that control plate is hideous
