Think of these as MIJ Ricks. They are clones from Japanese guitar manufacturers. Will be high quality even being 40 years old.
Is that an illusion or are there fret grooves but no frets on that?
The lighting is flat, like a copy stand lighting. It seems like the frets are reflecting light at their ends.
Fodera makes no mention of this model being fretless, but they also don’t state the type/height of frets on it either.

Yes, they’ve always had the ‘83 Victor Wooten available as a custom, but this one is now a new standard version. Received the email this morning. Unknown date, but incoming.

Alusonic basses have aluminum tops. The bodies and necks are made of the usual suspect woods.

It bothers me that the neck pickup is slanted but not the bridge pickup.
