Really nice book-matched top wood there. They should’ve left the unnecessary burst off, though.
Or, preferably, just done it better, more subtly.
But this was made in the F Zone, so all bets are off on that being a likelihood.

Agree with this, something like where is it near the lower end of the body near the bridge. Too much so on the horns.

It’s just a half-assed job. Custom builds are pricey, but at least you get what you pay for.
This is a shame because Cocobolo ain’t cheap, and this is a fine piece of wood. It deserves to have been in the hands of a better builder.

Yeah +1. I wasn’t going to comment on the burst because it’s Fender and this is pretty damn good for them, but… yeah.

Great player and a world-class sound system.
Decent bass.
I’d venture to say any bass with a good setup and set of strings would sound good under those circumstances.
Finally one I can dig. Have not been impressed by any of the ones after @Al1885 ’s BassBuzz GnG bass.
Of course to each their own, but I can dig this one, cuz, well its got some orange in it, so, yeah!

I saw this video today in BassTheWorld and I think it looks cool. It is by Baum, and has the same looking pickup from the Baum Nidhogg. The brushed golden metal pickguard looks so nice. This bass is available on 4 different colors (I’ll put the link to the manufacturer below). The black with gold looks very nice.
