That guy, man. I would say I would like to own maybe 50% of the instruments he makes (tops) but I am deeply grad he’s making the other 50% too because they are straight up art. Just an amazing luthier.

I was looking at that for a long time to try and tell if it was a set neck, neck-through, or one solid piece of wood. I think it’s a set neck.

I approve this bass 
but I do have to admit that I’m a little bummed out that they only offer it in HH now
edit: I mean, sure you can go to custom route if you want
edit edit: or maybe you can’t, do they offer the bongo in the custom program? I’m driving so I can’t look it up right now

I go back and forth on HH, but … since I have an EBMM Stingray (a T.C. passive shorty), I think I could get along nicely with an HH Bongo. My Henrix Constance should be done in a couple of months with the remaining 50% due. My Sandberg Florence won’t be done until probably next March, with the final 70% due. So…an MM Bongo will have to wait.
