Well if thats the case, I’m back on top BABY!!! Wooooooo!!!
You should tell them that they can make up for your poor experience by making an active 5 string version of the Retrovibe Vantage with abalone inlays and 5 way switch.

Pretty sure this video is actually illegal in some Bible Belt states.
Either the blue or red Streamers with LEDs will do nicely, thank you very much
That is some outstanding, high-res, uhm, porn
Pretty dope!
Confirmed. Illegal in Geargia. They were just… too… sexy.
I played a Dingwall once and it sounds like a dream. I love them.
Very nice
Cute little thing. 30”?
Yes that Supro is 30’’ scale length Howard.
I’m not sure if they do a longscale, but I would imagine so.
It turns out that this short scale Supro comes with flatwounds as standard, and also has a piezo pickup in the bridge, as well as the standard pickup. Very unusual.
I rather fancy one.
And only £1000
Oh I thought they were about £1500
I’m tempted, but must restrain myself . . .
Cool
What is the point of a short scale bass? (asking for a friend)
Asking for a friend eh
Dunno. What is the point of having beef stew for tea instead of cottage pie?
I assume originally for players with smaller hands.
Having said that though, many players with small hands play Precisions etc.
I know Bill Wyman played short scale because he had small hands. I remember him saying when the Steinberg basses were first launched he liked them a lot but they were only long scale - so he had them cut the neck down the first two (if I remember rightly) frets, so he could have one in a shorter scale.
Good for smaller hands. Better for transportation. Bit lighter on average (smaller). Better for bending (less tension). Worse for playing notes just by pressing down with your left hand (less tension). Sound a bit different. Can’t play all songs all them as tend to have less notes/frets.
That’s what comes to mind…
Every note in the musical alphabet appers on the fretboards in several places, so I can’t agree with that at all.
