this I think is my new favorite Ray ever.
It is easily in my top 3, but does it sit in 2’nd or go straight to tue top of the top 3?
IDK yet, not rushing it, just enjoying it for now, will decide later it its tops or not.
But, if it ends up in 2nd, its 100% the fact it has no teardrop.
Yep, still needs a teardrop, something soft.
More then clear, but maybe a little frosted glass, or clear with frosted edges even?
Doesnt need to be about the pock guard or how ot looks on a different bass, just has to be enough to add the teardrop to this one, almost like a lil make up amd a Tierra on the princess of the jungle?

Certainly does need the teardrop but it’s still outstanding without.
It was Tim Commerfords recent YouTube video and Als raving about ramps that steered me to try one and I do love it on the Ray4

I just figured it out. A clear with flamed edged Ramp might be enough like a teiarra and could do her just right. And I would almost, never suggest doing other then the teardrop on a Ray, but on that one…hmmm, a little outside the box could work

Ugh, I personally think that MM bass @T_dub linked looks so much better without the teardrop. It just makes more sense with the floating banana control plate. But this is ofc highly subjective
