I don’t know; looking at my SBV I don’t see it.
I think the SBV looks pretty different. Regardless I really like the ESP’s too, both are cool and unique looking. The iron crosses are overdone and a bit silly but otherwise it’s definitely interesting.
Not really a J/J fan though.

They might make a LTD version like they do for the Bandori guitars! Haven’t seen one though.
The Bandori basses aren’t bad either 
Those run about $500 for the LTD. Still $4500 for the ESP 
Of course it takes a real hero to rock a BanG Dream! guitar unironically. That’s some brilliant yet completely fabricated saccharine stardom right there.

The instruments themselves are freaking awesome. The 6-strings are equally cool.

It’s certainly brilliant though.
Basically the voice actresses from the bands in the anime stage concerts in real life as their characters in the show, and events in the concerts turn up in the show, and vice versa.
To their credit, most of the voice actresses actually can and do play their instruments live, so it’s not entirely Milli Vanilli.
But it’s very very saccharine
ESP makes all the guitars.
