Thank you @Bassdacious
I really don’t want to like Thunderbird type basses but I’m struggling with this dislike
Yeah, I know what you mean. I don’t want one, but I love the retro look of them. Very cool. This one is $800 AUD.
Went quick too !
I’m struggling to sell my basses lol
I think I’m in love with this.
I normally dislike gold hardware but I might make an exception just this once.
Warwick is just good with wood.
Looks like a Thumb
What I’m struggling with is there’s a used Stream out there for $300 and ok I’m thinking about making it a project bass and replacing the pups. And making it BEAD.
What to do
In the words of @itsratso DOOO EEEEEET!
This has been a public service announcement from your friendly neighbourhood gear acquisition encouragement daemon
Stock pups are probably fine TBH but BEAD sure!
Ok, I love ugly basses, my Ibanez ehb is one I wanted to vomit from and then bought later. Now it is the Dingwall someone posted here last year. The D-roc. Who is gonna talk me off the ledge from spending too much money.
- That is not ugly, that is glorious.
- Obviously you should buy this
Seriously, I vastly prefer unusual basses like this over standard body and headstock shapes. So cool.
That’s a cool bass. Definitely get it.
Yeah, can’t talk you out of that one, that is a looker.
You might want to try to play one first if you haven’t.
I almost went for an NG3, tried it and a Combustion and disliked both in my hands and in my ears.
That is too cool to not want.
Hahaaha
Probably someone not on this forum…
I’m a sucker for burls, especially when purple is involved! I would have preferred see-thru purple on the back of the body as well.
