Any bass whose finish is “blood red open pore with blood spater” deserves a mention.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit! Looks great, I own the black pore version. They play and feel amazing. Solar knows what they are doing
Nice 6 bolt neck!
So what’s the Solar like? Never heard anything about it until I saw this. Always great to hear from someone who owns one
I’m not sure if that’s a bass or a weapon. I’m cool either way, but daaaaang!
Well, you’re in good shape if the zombie apocalypse happens with one of these.
Oooh. I like that.
I like the way the lines, the colors, and the woodgrain all tie together to bring it to one very “sharp-looking” package, Lefty @LeftyChad . . .
(pun intended).
Cheers
Joe
It’s a very axe-like axe… much more in fact than the Gene Simmons axe bass, which is just schlock. This one looks the business.
That was cool in 1976 when i was in 5th grade and then it stopped.
I do really like his Punisher bass though, and I would love to have one, but, since you can now only get them signed by him via some VIP nonsense and you are paying $1,000 for a signature on a crappy bass, there is no way I would ever buy one.
Oh, there is a cool custom paint job on a bass on offer up, I will find it soon and post photos. I almost liked it enough to buy it, but the price, which is not bad, I’d more then I want to pay for wall art
I will find it soon, my offer blew ep, so might take a few hours
In the mean time, I thought this would get a few “oohs” and Aahs”.
I am having a hard time not just getting it. It ticks many boxes.
But then again, so do do many others.
I don’t like that they use the guitar width neck at nut.
I would have to play it, it at least play a tele agsin to see.
That’s very cool, but, a lot of $$$ for a Squier, no matter how ‘rare’.
Agree I would have to play it before buying.
The price history graph is telling. Even if you’ve forgotten everything you learned in school about supply and demand economics, that shows how it works!
16 million more guitarists, that’s a lot of product.
Mayones really does come out with some beautiful basses. I normally prefer darker fret boards but this looks great. Would love to try one, one day.
They really do. Out of my price range but certainly lookers for sure.
They do. They have/had two that I particularly like. One is the Viking 4 in a purple gradient stained ash, which they still carry, and the other is the original Pilichowski signature Pi in burl poplar, which they no longer do.
For a bit they did it in blue as well
Yes beautiful but expensive. Out of my price range as well.
