Rip. He made nice stuff.
Is that a Serek?
l do like just about everything about it, but it is probably a SS. I would need some serious time with one to see if I could stick with a SS. I might like a 32" scale OK, maybe even a 30", but that Ibanez Mikro 28.5" is just way to small for me.
I don’t mind either way, but I know that the angled back heads are a lot weaker and much more prone to breaking. Not under normal use, but an accident that a straight headstock might live thru, could snap an angled back one. Just a note to be extra careful with it.
Yep, a “The Grand” The Grand - Serek Basses - Affordable Short Scale Bass Guitar
Nice. Body shape reminds me of a cross between a Yamaha and a Warwick.
Not a bass, but since bassbuzzers are starting to buy ESP Stream basses…
ESP is running a Hatsune Miku signature G-Stream
This Grassroots version just sold used for $600 here, so not cheap:
Bummed they didn’t do a bass version
The full ESP versions are numbered and come with a special hard case:
… For $6k USD
Sadly, no bass version to blow $6k for the privilege of the “signature” of a hologram. Kind of a bummer as the color scheme is actually awesome and a LTD-level bass version would be cool.
Truss rod cover is a nice touch:
Speaking of ESP, TIL they have yet another sub-brand (similar to Edwards, etc) where they basically make lawsuit-level Fender and Gibson clones. ESP Navigator:
They are quite expensive, listing around $5k new. J and P basses there at the end are pretty damn close to the Fenders. The strat, tele, Jazzmaster, Les Paul, and SG look real close to me too.
Someone is trying to get $1000 here
Probably will easily get it as GrassRoots are not usually sold in the US
That’s some pretty intricate-looking artwork, @HowlinDawg . . .
Cheers
Joe
Is that Custom or Cusstom? You decide.
Looks oddly like my original design idea absent the Care Bear shit paint scheme
ESP “GLAM BELLY” L’Arc-En-Ciel Tetsuya signature model.
Just over $10k (limited, made to order custom shop)
