I don’t know where to ask this question so I’ll try here and see what comes. What is the difference between BassBuzz Discord and this BassBuzz Forum and what are their respective purposes?

Purpose for both is the same, provide a place to talk to folks about the course, bass, music, and other stuff in general. One provides a chat interface, shared audio, and Discord’s other features; the other is a more old-school forum format that is better at history and permanence. They basically complement each other but in general each has kind of a distinct crowd that has gravitated one way or another, like 90%/10% usually. I poke in over there every couple months.

Agreed altho im more 50/50. i have around a dozen ‘favourite’ tabs open constantly that i refresh when i have a few minutes to myself, this forum and the discord channel being two of them, so i look at them both within minutes of each other.

One has some nasty political bs and the other is here. Agree with the majority or you will be shunned. YMMV but I got banned on the other. There are plenty of other places that provide political/religious insanity and thankfully BassBuzz is not that place.
Did I miss something? I don’t think I’ve seen anything like that in the BB discord, but I usually only pop in once or twice a week briefly and don’t post much.
If you look for trouble you find it.
