Will be looking for a cheap flight … and possibly I can crash at some old friends from my EPIC -days and prepare with a all-night party the Saturday before, so I’ll feel Rock’n Roll enough for you guys (and gals?)…

Haven’t been vegan for about three years, so easy restaurant selection
We’re staying with Mandi’s family on Long Island, just taking the LIRR into town for the day
If people want vegetarian or vegan then Mildred’s in soho is a good shout. Great little restaurant
When you come in on the LIRR, you come to Penn Station. I live a block away. I know the city as well as anyone, so I’m a good source for sites etc.

Take a look at this link and show Mandi. It might fall under “touristy”, but it is genuinely a worthwhile visit. If you decide you’d like to attend, your tickets are on me. Think of it as a belated wedding present and a way to say thank you for everything you do for me and for all the community!

Well as Josh is no longer vegan it’s making that curry idea seem all the more plausible! We brits are terrible for falling over ourselves to try to keep everyone happy that it can take a while to make any decisions!
Perhaps @JoshFossgreen pick a pub that is convenient for yourself and Mandi, then we can assemble there and hatch a plan on the day? Just a thought.
LOL. Such a part of our national psyche. I’ve had evenings with friends where we’ve done literally nothing because nobody wanted to impose their choice on anyone else.

Hey Josh and bass folks,
The West End of London and Camden Market will almost certainly be monster busy on a Sunday afternoon in the tourist season. As Josh and Mandi are only here for a short trip I suggest that we meet on the South Bank. Yes, it will be busy but there is lots more space and no traffic. Josh, you can then be free to visit some of the world’s great art centres: the Globe Theatre, the Tate Modern, The National Theatre, the Royal Festival Hall, the British Film Institute (BFI) and even take a trip on the London Eye (amazing) or a boat on the river. It is also in walking distance of Westminster, Trafalgar Square and the West End.
How about meeting for a drink or whatever around 2 ish at the BFI café/bar? There is outdoor and indoor seating.
Just a suggestion

I’m about 150 miles west of London, in sunny South Wales, see, is it, there’s lovely, get your goat off my mountain.
Sunday 27th is the day after I get back from holiday. I might be able to make it, depending on times/places etc.
