BassBuzz Merch is Here (yes, shirts, for real)

Edited my comment above, I only meant the hoodie! Hopefully you’re okay. :metal:

Haha yup, I continue to be mystified why some of the items are shipping from Latvia, when I am clearly not close to Latvia. The wonders of dropshipping. Talking to our supplier about if this can change to be a little less silly / more eco friendly!

Mine is funnier…

US one is en route to DHL, bottom one only had FedEx label created.

Hoping that FedEx isn’t the last mile here… they’re not famous for being good here in Ireland.

They aren’t famous for being good anywhere

Sometimes there’s an exception that confirms the norm.

GLS, DPD, DHL and AnPost are brilliant here.

FedEx, UPS… horrible… horrible.

In Portugal GLS is the worst thing I worked with. UPS, DHL fairly good.

I’d take FedEx over USPS actually. Many shippers are not impressive

FedEx works like champ for me. Always accurately trackable, on time, and delivered in pristine condition. :man_shrugging:

DHL is way better for international stuff in my experience.

The only international shipping I’ve had has been from Thomann, which used FedEx.

It took fewer than three days from my pressing the buy button to a bass being dropped off at my Texas doorstep, and from Germany, no less. Impressive.

I’ve placed three separate orders with Thomann, and fast shipping happened each time.

I think we’d all like to see a picture of you in that women’s tank top.

I’m confident you can pull it off. It’s a Portuguese thing right?

I’d do it… but my daughter would kill me… multiple times

I don’t know if things have changed in the last 20 years, but when I worked at Motorola, we were prohibited from using DHL for any international shipping. UPS and FedEx used their own planes. DHL shipped in containers on 3rd party airlines. If something went missing, it was often gone for good. Rightly or wrongly, I still avoid them like the plague. Old habits die hard.

As far as I know and a mate also experienced this… there are a few methods…

DHL standard will use first available… usually the cheapest option, and most commonly available (ie: 24 days of a bass being sent from Germany to Sweden, using cheapest methods possible)

DHL express uses their network to expedite packages fast. Usually puts a package from Japan to my front door faster than Amazon from Dublin to my Front Door.

DHL Medical (using my example) expedites things so fast that it’s scary.
It’s easier for me to get my meds from Portugal, collected and delivered/shipped by DHL, than it is to go to a GP here, then go to a pharmacy. They managed once a 16h record… and shipping cost was lower than GP cost.

And no, I don’t work for them… but they have been absolutely reliable when sending or receiving packages!

Nice! Order placed.

DHL from Japan works very well, but so does plain old Japanese post. Though you can’t really track the package once it leaves Japan.

Yeah Japan Post is great.

Especially considering that crazy house numbering system you have over there!

Yeah it’s wild, I have no idea how the delivery companies find things.

We were trying to find our accommodation and the house numbers went 23, 45, 17 etc

Yeah instead of ordered blocks with numbers it goes by increasingly smaller geographical divisions.

My tank top and stickers arrived from Latvia today, delivered by Evri, a UK courier. My sons t shirt is coming via Royal Mail (our standard postal service) so will turn up when the idle f##kers decide to bring it.
