Beginner Jam tracks

For all the beginners (myself included). What’s really helped me feel comfortable learning the neck is playing over jam tracks. Just playing the root to start with and keeping up with the chord changes was enough of a challenge to start.

I know there are lots of great YouTube channels out there. I love Elevated jam tracks for my guitar stuff. But for bass I’ve been using Eric Andreas’ channel. It’s meant for his guitar student but it clicks with me.

It shows the chord progression of the screen and he has a variety of keys and speeds to work through. Cheers amigos.

I like Elevated Jam tracks as well. I’ll check out that Eric Andreas channel.

if you are into writing bass lines or learning to write them join wiki loops find a genre you like download the backing track and take time to write bass lines that fit and sound good.
