I just wanted to be clarified about the contents in the coarse. Because I seen pictures of students holding a book with beginner to bad ass. On it. Is there a physical book that is available for purchase?
And if not has there been any problems forgot terminology of sending file with pages of book.
Like troubles I having now with other coarse I just paid for. Big images small images very small images and left side of page shaved off images.
Hopefully there a book.
Thanks.
Howdy @snaredrum
There’s a digital course booklet that contains mostly reference material like basics of reading sheet music, key signatures, and scale references as well has general course structure.
There’s a separate PDF with the tabs and sheet music for all the play along tracks for reference outside the course videos.
Nearly everything you need to go through the course is included in the videos though.
You can of course print out the digital booklet if you find it easier to have a paper copy in hand.
Hi @snaredrum,
There was an option to buy the course with physical DVDs which comes with a small booklet. The main course is on the web.
In the standard package, as far as I know, you have the following:
- a video on a web page for each exercise
- backing tracks in slow, medium, fast as separate pages
- practice tracks for download as mp3
- PDF for the coursebook
- PDF for tab and standard notation (alongside)
The videos include a lot of show and tell, so you should be fine for pictures.
Hope this helps!
Not anymore.
Thanks for the heads up, @Mike_NL
I bought the DVD’s but honestly I never referred back to any of the info in the accompanying book that comes with the DVD’s. Everything you need is online.
