i was using birchwood gunstovk wax but price has tripled…$20 for 3 oz. Any alternatives?

Boiled linseed oil or tung oil are great.

Teak oil or Danish oil are superb, they are just boiled linseed oil with some varnish and thinners. Wipe on, idiot proof (that’s why I use them).
It dropped back down to $16 at Amazon. I’ve only been treating my Stringrays once a year, and a bottle lasts a long time. How often are you doing it?
Renaissance is amazing.
I used to use it on my silver trumpets (saxophones are way way too complicated to keep polished).
