I haven’t been here for very long but all the interactions I’ve had with my brothers and sisters of the bass has been awesome, I’d like to thank everybody worldwide for their love.
Many thanks
Well thanks. I can’t possibly take all of the credit.

.
But I will, thanks.
I don’t know about taking all of the credit, @Al1885, but you sure have taken all of the basses. ![]()
You guys are so nice and humble, fortunately I’m none of that, so I took the honor ![]()
I truly appreciate all the love I have received on this forum! I tried going to Reddit and a few other forums. Y’all had a most respect and most professional and just the most courteous out of all of them thank you. I may not post much but when I do I do appreciate it thank you y’all have a great day

being online is a battlefield these days and The old-timers have seen a few things here recently that are a little disturbing. but overall, you would have a hard time finding a better group of people and I’m happy to be here ![]()
I mean you kind of knew bass players were going to be cool right
Sometimes they are and sometimes they aren’t! I’ve met Uncool bass players. Then I’ve met some kick ass bass players.
Cuz I really don’t practice I just kind of fuck around with the bass of here and there. I’ve had f****** turn their nose up to me. It was like winter spring of 2024. I had a Rogue SX100B. It was basically a generic P bass. I rewired it with 100K pots cheap pots at that. With a 6800 microfarad capacitor as my tone cap. Somehow someway I ended up in a nine fucking hour conversation on Reddit about how 6800 microfarad capacitor with 100K pots. Will not work is not going to work and you might as well just go back to the 500k pots with the .00022! Man I was shaking my brother’s house left and right dude. It actually gave it a hell of a lot more face a lot more deeper tone and it didn’t sound like an overgrown guitar like the basses do today! Once I moved into where I’m living at now I actually found that potentiometer and capacitor still wired up ready to go. I also know that it’s not good to use Clorox wipes to wipe down your guitars and shit. I use the non-bleach Clorox wipe and some Lysol version but saying s***. I’ve never had a problem with it. But, earlier today if I had it I’d take I would have done it that way. But, I don’t have it to do it that way the correct way. I’ve been using Clorox wipes way before I even decided to start building my basses!
That got an IRL snort laugh. @Al1885 is generous with his cooking so it balances out. But my opinions are easily swayed by delicious noodles ![]()
