Book to go along with BassBuzz

As an old prof, I like hardcopy. Is there a good book on Bass Technique that works well with the BassBuzz course?

I purchased the Hal Leonard Bass Method books before I enrolled in B2B. Has good info, I just learn better by watching.

I too like having something tactile and reference-able while NOT looking into the glow of a computer screen.

I printed all the “course extras”, make notes on them, so sort of like a course book…and slightly anticipating ‘what am I gonna do once the course is over’ (though I will only finish up Mod12 this evening) I bought this book. But have only skimmed through it so far, so not (necessarily) a recommendation…but it looks ok.

Despite the name, Bass Guitar for Dummies is a great book written by a well-regarded teacher.

Agreed, though I started reading through it before starting B2B and found it a bit theory-heavy. Now I’m a fair way into B2B I’m planning on going back to it - it’s well written and laid out, so I should be able to get more out of it second time round :sunglasses:

I’ve also been thinking of getting Nate Navarro’s “Etudes, Riffs, Songs & Exercises” book - he too, seems to be well-regarded
