Bought a bass from a pawnshop for $200

Both are easy peazy jobs. Take the pressure off the strings, then remove them. Then pull out the 4 screws to get the neck off. Reinstalling is the reverse. Just make sure you tighten the screws up well when you put the neck back on. The absolute worst case scenario is the neck gets slightly shifted in the pocket. But this is easy to identify, because the strings will be skewed to one side where it joins the body. You would just loosen the screws up, and right it, then tighten back down. You shouldnt even need to adjust the truss rod, since there wouldnt be any real change to the instrument.

For the pickups, just loosen the two screws on each until they fall out. Again, just reverse this to get it back to baseline. These screws in particular are intended to be adjusted, so this is even more of an arbitrary job than the neck.

Hey! Could you figure this out? I found this exact bass on marketplace in Sweden nd first thing I thought something was off without seeing it in real. I don’t know what it was but it just looked weird on the pictures to me. I had to google it and I found this website that you’re also looking for if it was real or fake.
