Buying a bass this weekend

Woohoo- the bass I ordered has come into stock and been dispatched! I know it won’t make me a better player (I’m still very much a beginner) but I can’t wait!

I wonder how long it takes to ship a parcel from Germany to the UK?

2 days would be a safe guess… Maybe you get it just before the weekend!? Fingers crossed!

It was free shipping- I can’t imagine it’ll be the quickest option. Parts for work (that aren’t in stock here in the UK) get overnighted from Germany, but I can’t see that happening here

Ooh, that’s nice! :star_struck:

Yeah, unfortunately they are not making anymore. The website is pretty much just selling strings. So sad the guy got sick.

And then there were two…
It has finally arrived. The action is way lower than I’m used to but it’s set up fine with absolutely no buzz. Intonation is spot on and I’m early enough in my bass playing journey to be able to go back and start B2B again, since I’ve barely touched the blue one whilst knowing/waiting for the new one to arrive (although I’ve spent the time I’d normally spend practicing when I get home from work each day building the engine wiring loom for my car). It’s a lovely instrument and I’ll almost certainly be getting another one one day. The beauty of the Harley Benton stuff (especially if you’re in Europe and free shipping and no customs/duty charges) is that it’s amazing value for money, so you don’t have to save up for too long before being able to afford another.
