OK lets see if I’ve got this figured out. 
I want to write a song using G Mixolydian.
Why G - It’s my preferred key for this song
Why Mixolydian - I have read in several places it is one of the best modes for the blues which this song is.
I want to use a chord progression of I IV V vi (1 4 5 6)
If I am doing this correctly this chord progression for G Mixolydian should relate to G C Dm Em
Is this correct?
