So, I went to my local music store. Funnily enough they had an MXR bass comp, an Empress and a used Behringer. I havent tried the Kelley Bassist, but I did play with those three.
I think I’m going to bite the bullet and get the Empress. Built like a tank, super flexible and the LED signal visualisation is super helpful. And, it’s only 50 bucks more than the Kelley.
