Over the last year or so I have amassed an ever growing amount of cords and it’s starting to make my ocd run wild. Any tips or tricks on how to get them organized?
Fuck, its to early on a Saturday.
I use these attached to the inside door of my closet. They work fantastic. I went an added route of putting a scrunci on them to further secure the cables in place.
And here’s how I have mine set up:
Nice, I’ll check it out
Hard to know exactly what to suggest without knowing what your cable inventory looks like. I’m using most of my instrument cables and longer patch cables. The other patch cables I group by size, wrap with a velcro cable minder, and store in a drawer in my gear room.
Longer instrument cables and speaker cables are stored in different drawers. That works for me but I can also see why that cable hanger or a tie hanger could also work. I just find it easier to keep them tucked away in the portable drawer units I have where I also keep strings and parts.
Have the same… just less cords. Holding a small shoulder bag as well.
I approve this one. Screws easy to the wood. I might though have to use rubber bands to hold cables instead of scrunchies!
You should Google “cable porn”. You’re going to like it. Don’t worry, it’s completely safe for work or any other setting.
Sounds like something i used to try and watch in the early 90s
