Yep yep, I did the same. He seems much more interested in making awesome lessons and improving older ones than making merch. But I think it’ll come someday. In the meantime you can always design your own bass T-shirts.
Maybe he’d be willing to set up a tip jar on the website? I think quite a few of us would throw some bones in. 
I’m pretty certain that’s not an issue. I believe Josh has his own strategy regarding merch.

To be clear, I don’t think a lack of funds is the reason there are no shirts or other BassBuzz merch yet.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to imply Josh and friends are hurting for money. Sorry if it came across that way.
But unless you’re a billionaire, you can always find something constructive to do with more money. 
E.g. donations could go into a scholarship to provide the course to those who can’t afford it.
Or I’m sure there’s always another piece of video production gear that would be helpful. That stuff is EXPENSIVE!
This was such a wonderful surprise to find when I logged in today! I was in the middle of module 16 and so very close to completing the course (105 of 109 lessons), but pondering where to go next. I can’t wait to check out all the new additions and features. Thank you Josh, you’ve made an already awesome course even better! This is one of the best investments I’ve ever made.
Awesome! Just noticed the updates today when I started getting email notices about Josh replying to all the threads I made posts on… He’s not replying to my posts per se, he’s just posting on the threads and I am getting updates about that.
Is that supposed to happen? I’d like to just get notifications about MY POSTS that he’s replying to… not everyone else’s. Not being stingy, I just want to reduce the amount of notifications that I get.
If this was already answered above, please let me know where the answer is so I can read it. I am at work and have limited time to look through stuff.

I don’t think does this to become a millionaire by selling courses.
Josh wants to bring Bass to the masses… make it accessible and affordable. I am also pretty sure he knows that any of us wouldn’t mind buying merch, donate… even if it was a pool to help pay the hosting.
Lets enjoy the revamp and redo the course, I think that’s the best way we can show our appreciation, after many years of people asking for a second one!

Thanks for the explanation, Josh. And no need for a sales pitch on upgrade. it looks great. And slap bass isn’t really used in most styles i play, not a big loss. was just wrapping up module 12 and and looking forward to it for some fun!
While i have your ear, let me say thanks for your fantastic lessons. Ive played guitar for over 20 years, but bass just a year or so. your lessens are very comprehensive, but you manage to slow play and sneak important ideas into real world playing in such a way that nothing feels too hard!
Ive learned so much, and most of it applies to guitar (or music in general) as well.

Hi, I have taken the course twice in recent years(on DVD) and I see there has been a revamp. I understand there’s an FAQ video that will explain the changes more clearly? Could you post a link to that? Thanks.

I was in the middle of working on Module 8 when the revamp occured. I noticed a new lesson there – oh cool I thought. I really liked the changes so after I completed Module 8 I decided to just start all over.
One change I like is Josh having a guitar with fret board markers. Little things like that help a student follow easier.
Anyway, working on Module 2 now. Having fun.
