I bought a cheap DI pedal from Amazon. It has a GAIN switch -20dB/0dB/+20dB. When I switch to the +20dB and play my A string, this happens.
The sound you are hearing is coming from my wife’s classical guitar, hanging about 10 feet away on the wall. It almost sounds like the droning from a tanpura.
