What kind of paint is it? I am guessing some kind of super toxic lacquer? 
on Greenie it’s acrylic spray paint, nothing toxic ! on my yellow Telecaster it’s polyurethane, probably more toxic but more durable. anyway the two are at a pretty advanced “relic” state so I don’t care much.
