Did Orange amps just drop in price?

I’ve been interested in a Crush 50 but never justified the price. A guy was selling one on marketplace a couple weeks ago for 500 bucks and I offered him 400. Now I see that Sweetwater has them listed as $399 with free shipping.

Am I losing it? I swear they were $550 last time I looked

$550 for an Orange Crush Bass 50 would be ridiculously overpriced, even in Canadian dollars. They are about ¥4-50000 here new, or $250-300.

They’ve been $500 CDN for a while, so that’s about $25 USD I think :man_shrugging:

I mean I guess in the US it could be the tariff BS… but $550 USD would be just silly

I agree 550 is too much, but I’m pretty sure that what the regular retail price has always been. Like I said, I offered a guy 400 on a used one he was asking 500 for. Pretty sure none us would’ve been talking those numbers if they were 399 new

$350 new on Thomann, about $300 new here, looks like it’s the Trump Tax then, since it’s an import.

Easily found around $200 used here.

399 on Amazon, 749 for the 100 watt. They were the same price when I was looking at that or the Rumble 100, which is about 400 as well. Of course I saw a Rumble 25 on FB marketplace for 200

I see $399 across the board new in USA

That’s still steep for a 50 watt combo but certainly better than $550.

You may have been mistaken with the 100W model. at one point it was on sale from $599 to $549 now it’s $699. the 50 has always been $400 and were as low as $349 at one sales. 4th of July is coming I think it’s going to go down. I buy my bass and bike around that time quite often.

Indeed. Buy used!!!

Cries in Brazilian.

I just checked prices here. I found one used for $500 and the new ones go from $7-800 to about $1300.

There’s also a crush 100 for $1700

Ouch…

May be the case, but I swear the Crush 50 was listed at $550. And I’ve never been wrong

That’s cold! I didn’t need glasses until about 10 years ago (54). Then I needed cornea transplants and new lenses since they were in there. Now I have a very slight prescription for glasses! I thank my donors! It’s not a kidney, heart or liver, but I have parts from 2 other people!

47 here, had surgery last year to remove my farsightedness, still got presbyopia as most of us old folks do, so yeah, I’ll be wearing glasses again sooner or later

Oranges? Yeah I love citric fruits.

Now that theoretically my old guy farsight has stabilized I kind of want laser surgery. Need to check on if it is still not advised.
