The strap itself is great quality but it’s way too wide and inflexible to be comfortable. Also, I don’t find any of my basses to be so heavy that I need a strap that’s wide enough to park stealth bombers on.

I like my Harvest strap. I don’t know whether I must send apologies to the Political Correctness Police, since it’s made of genuine leather (yes, cow skin). It’s black on the outside and red on the inside. Over here in Germany, they cost around 50 euros. I can recommend these, they’re wide, solid, soft and comfy.

My 3" Legato is plenty for my 12lb Swamp Ash J bass.

I have several really nice 3 inch wide leather straps that I got from a woman named Jeri Hart. Unfortunately her straps are no longer affordable, I assume due to the tariffs. When I was once able to get for $65 is now $165.
