Easy 12 bar blues suggestions

HI, Any suggestions out there for a easy 12 bar blues tune I can play along with on songster? I want it so I can slow it down if needed and still feel the gallop or hearbeat or shuffle pattern of the rhythm.

Like- Willie Dixon’s song The Seventh Son

4/4 time : quarter, eight, eight, eight, quarter notes (heartbeat rhythm)

Excellent suggestion.
Chicka boom- I love Johnny,
I think i will be able to play that one at full speed!!!

I don’t use Songsterr, but there are a few I could find on it:

  • Rock me baby by B.B. King
  • Stop Messing Around by Gary Moore, a bit fast but mostly root note shuffle
  • Killing Floor by Howlin’ Wolf, got 16th notes in it though.

Not exactly 12 bar blues, but it is ( make sense when you see it) but a very helpful and easy to understand tutorial that will probably interest you if you’re practicing 12 bar blues and playing around with fills.

I just use YouTube. Search for “12 Bar Blues Backing Track”. Pick your feel and key.

Not as many options to control tempo, but you can still do 75% or 50% speed.

If you use Transcribe!, you can pull the YouTube audio in and control the speed, loop sections for practice, work out notes etc.
