pretty interesting video from Anderton’s music: they compare 4 sets of strings on identical basses: EB Hybrid Slinkys, EB Cobalts, EB Stainless Steel, and EB Flatwounds. Lot of talking but if you skip to 16:49 they do direct comparisons without any other speaking.

I’ve seen that video, too. Which was quite funny, because I did kinda exactly that switch of strings recently. 
I switched from Hybrid Slinky Roundwounds to Slinky Cobalt Flatwounds and I absolutely adore the new sound of my Jaguar! 
It’s like these Flatwounds are made for the Jag!

Yeah, I must admit I’m a huge fan of the cobalt flats, too! It was a real WOW-effect when I first played them! Can totally recommend!
