just ordered some Stranglers vinyl - don’t have any yet - went with Peaches - a best of “record store day” release from a couple of years ago. My local record shop is ordering it in for me…
Tupper Ware Remix Party aka TWRP’s “New & Improved” is all I love about this band:
I like it too - but I really love their personal mix of the super heavy with the atmospheric and melodic.
I missed the heavy a lot. So, I like the record, yet was also disappointed if that makes sense?
Yeah, totally understand. Sunbather has a really incredible sound and was a great mix of styles. Their guitarist lists Kevin Shields as an influence and you can really hear it.
It’s gonna be real hard to top Dream House.
This is a good description of why I like blackgaze in general.

I actually thougth '21 was a pretty terrific year for music. My fave was Squid’s Bright Green Field.
