Even a $200 bass shouldn’t be, certainly not from a “reputable” source. One of the main reasons you buy something new is to avoid maintenance/repair hassles.

@akos sorry to hear it, its shame that stuff happens on such expensive axe.
Soalso I might give you guys update about Stang.
After all this time I still dislike the instrument, even tho I set it up. Sound seems to come out inconsistent sometimes depends where you fret ,even if you play on same string. I’ve put it up for sale, and Im already at loss of cash, since people who eould spend this amount of money are rare here.
However got my my eyes on sweet used Yamaha Candy Red BB424, I heard it and I can tell its my favorite axe sound. And its around 250 euros. Pretty awesome price.

BB’s are great, I have a 734A and love it. The 424’s are excellent.

Thanks, it’s under warranty, so that’s not going to be a problem. I’m just pissed that there’s always some new issue with it, and again it’s going to take weeks to sort out.
