Let me make this absolutely clear right from the start: I am not advocating buying yet another bass, @joergkutter, but if you wanted something as an investment perhaps one with a proven record for playability & tone - and a couple of records under its strap, too.
This place has some seriously nice guitars of all flavours, and the seem to specialise a bit in artist owned.
