Does anyone know what size frets fender used on the precision pre cbs?fender are marketing pre radiused frets to 7.25 as vintage,but are only 0.084 x 0.039,which corresponds to dunlop 6190.other places say they used 6230,which are approx 0.080 x 0.043.yet more sites say they were 0.083 x 0.045.im planning on refretting a precision and would like to use the wire they used back then.ive got an AVRI 62 reissue jazz and really like those frets,but not sure which wire they used on those and don’t have any calipers etc to measure them.the height I imagine would be affected by the levelling.any help would be appreciated
