Finger Strength Tools Useful?

So based on a quick search I couldn’t find a previous post that called out the usefulness of finger strengthening “tools” specifically. If they are helpful, then I can mess with them while sitting at my desk all day listening to bass instructional videos. So before I grab any what’s everyone’s thoughts? Anyone tried them? What did you think of them?

Finger strength tools are apparently actually harmful. Adam Neely has a few videos about it. Avoid.

Forearm strength via normal exercises like wrist curls is good though.
