I could have posted this video I came across as a reply in a few topics lately, but it didn’t feel the right place. So I’ll give it it’s own topic.
I have quite often the impression that I don’t progress fast enough, that I should know more music theory, that my playing is too slow… But does it really matter? What is the most important thing for me?
There’s one thing that keeps me going. It’s playing with other people, learning songs and playing together, maybe understand a bit of the underlying musical theory without going into details.
My progress still feels slow, but it’s certainly more rewarding than just trying to play anything at home by myself.
