I am at a conference in Liverpool at the moment and spent the evening in the Cavern Club. The guys were putting on a good show and “Paul” was playing a lefty Hofner, no less. He was a bit chubby though

I’ve never been in the ‘new’ Cavern but I did visit the original in 1972 (shortly before it was knocked down and later rebuilt). I confess that I was underage at time!
