Any tips to help eliminate fret buzz on slides (specifically shorter slides)? I’m currently working on The Chain and that short slide from (is that G to A? - the 3rd to 5th fret on the E string) during the solo/outro is buzzing like crazy on me. For reference, I’m using my middle finger for the slide as it’s an easier reach for me with average size hands.

You may be letting up the pressure a bit too much during the slide. You don’t want to press super hard, but you need to keep enough that you don’t mute or buzz it. I know if using round wound strings I have a tendency to want to lift off more to not have the strings be a cheese grater on my fingers. Flats are kinder in that regard. I have to be cognizant of that habit and fight against it a bit to keep that consistent tone during the slide.

Thanks for the tip - I’ll give that a shot with my next practice session!
