It’s just uncharacteristic for Sweetwater. Just pandemic things I guess. I’d actually be okay if they just told me what was happening.
Doesn’t help I’m already aggravated because one of my servers at the Cancer Center went down and I can’t press the reset button because the guy who racked it didn’t label the servers and you really don’t want to hit the wrong one
Just wanted you to know the Fender Jaguar PJ model has popped up again for $670 on Amazon. This is not a warehouse deal, its brand new. Everywhere else it is $1090. If you want you can do the 12 month payment plan at $55. If its out of stock just be patient. Mine took months before it was sent but for $400 off it was worth it. Also save the cash and buy some SD PJ Quarter Pounders. You can ask @John_E about those. I may do the same to mine.
@Wombat-metal Very true. I have a set of EMGs on my Warwick Streamer. Totally slipped my mind. And so very easy to install because all their components are solderless.
I just got another email from Home Depot informing me that the installation of my storm doors is complete, and it lists a contractor who completed the work.
I am installing them myself.
I haven’t even picked them up yet.
Apparently good web developers are hard to find.
Ironically, my ex has her own business and works on the backend of all these systems and integrating them. Her work dried up so much since covid started she took a corporate job working on stadium POS systems backends.
I think these companies need to go back to spending money on these realtime systems.
Just ordered a Zoom H8 recorder. I know very little about recording but looking forward to having a play with this when it arrives! New toy day is always a good day
I have the H6 “Black Edition” which is basically an H6 minus all the accessories it used to come with, for the same price (ie GFY Zoom lol).
That said, it’s a good recorder and I imagine the newer H8 to be pretty similar, but with two more inputs. I use mine a lot for recording my synthesizer station or just as a mixer in general, or recording nature at the local pond
In a couple weeks I’ll probably snag a cheap Digital Reference (made by Audio Technica) vocal mic (DRV100 or 200), a mic bag for my growing collection of microphones, and a pop filter.
I’ve been preaching this sermon for a while now. I got my Sire U5, which has been uber-rare in the US for months, from Thomann. Got the last one they had. And I got my blonde Sire M5 4-string from Thomann a few weeks later. Super-slick ordering and shipping processes at cheaper prices than the usual online suspects. Free shipping (fast) and no sales tax. And the instruments arrived not only safe and sound, but in tune! Yeah.
