GAS - Gear Acquisition Syndrome (Part 1)

It’s all based on addiction theory. You get them with the cheap pedal and then they come back for the cabinet.

Lol! One unicorn-like object at a time! My EBMM Cutlass hasn’t even shipped yet.

I’m definitely gonna have to thin my herd by at least 50%.

Yeah, me too, since I’m picking up amy Fender Steve Harris P bass this week.

Although… I already have a plan to convert my Peavey Fury into a double P  instead of selling it.

Congrats on the Steve Harris P!

And the Fury as a double P sounds great. Be sure to update when you’re done with the mod.

Both basses sound great.

I love my double Ps

That FGN is amazing. I’m still surprised at how fast they were all bought up.

Technically, that’s days before the holidays. Lol.

I started the other way around with the Aguilar cabinet and amp head, both of which have consistently stayed my favorite gear. I figured they probably make a good compressor and onvi confirmed … too good not to have at that price.

Man I want a Tone Hammer 700 to go with the TLC Compressor…

Yeah it’s even in the top tier picks pedal… My top picks

You know what @AnotherJosh, you should have an Aguilar Tone Hammer 700 and you need to decide which cabinet you’re going to need with it. :smiling_imp::+1:

Complete and really dig it.
I think those Fender CS ‘60 Jazz pickups are just the bomb.

I can’t recommend that enough. I had the ToneHammer 350 a few months and sold the DG Microtubes 500. TH is a great amp. I like to keep it on the edge of audible grit for just that something extra. The Drive knob also pulls in the high and low EQ for a midrange emphasis the harder it’s pushed.

For the Aguilar TLC, word is that it’s likely being discontinued. Likely making room for a replacement.

Yeah, I’m not blown away by the SPB1. It’s serviceable. I’ll probably make a change at some point. See how the 50s Fralin works out

Fralin Ps are solid performers. I would think the 50s version would be, too.

I’m hoping for some attitude out of the Fralin.
