GAS - Gear Acquisition Syndrome (Part 1)

Instead of a rumble you could go for a FR/PA speaker. It’s awesome combined with the Helix! That way you get the best result of using different amp & cab sims.

That’s why my amp and cab are as clean and neutral as you can get. Totally agree.

This is so true. Nowadays you can get cab sims from everywhere. Fake or not, lol.

This is why I haven’t owned an amp in years

I forgot you have the HX Stomp. No need for the music store when you have everything right there.

What about an extension cabinet for the Rumble 100?

There’s no speaker out on the 100W.

It’s not an issue for now, it’s plenty loud enough. I’ll keep my eye on the used market and see if one pops up.

wait who the hell said we’re doing THAT

Cool! I’m chomping at the bit to hear what people think of these pedals.

For now, I have other questions…

Revecho
I’m guessing it’s reverb and delay?

Harmonist
@John_E didn’t care for this pedal on bass. What do you think of it?

Providence Vitalizer FB
I’m not familiar with this one. I don’t think Providence sells it anymore.

Yes the Revecho is the reverb delay kind of nice. Surprisingly rich I like it.

Harmonist, well it’s @John_E I bought it from him.

Vitalizer is just a booster as well as line booster before I got the dual bass station I use that to boost the passive bass so the level is about the same without turning on gain knob. I love providence’s products. Very high quality.

I also made a couple of EMG preamp pedals pretty cool. Funny I don’t know where I put it. I was going to install the led light and now I gotta find it, lol.

I actually use the dynamic wah a lot, it’s a fun pedal.

Now I gotta figure out how to put the GT-1B in the second input on the dual bass station.

The pocket gt is coming on Friday, and the Waza air bass coming next week.

That is cool. One click on the Providence preamp and you change to a completely different setup. :sunglasses::+1:

Oh, and when you find that EMG preamp pedal, I would really like to see pictures. The guts too if that’s okay.

Yes. Of course. I thought I posted here before when I made it. It was a BTS and I forgot the other one but with VMC(variable mid control) and the preamp. I got bored and since I have enough EMG to open a small shop I figure I make a pedal box out of it. Pretty cool too no soldering.

I just remembered why I knew about Providence. Their Anadime Bass Chorus is supposed to be excellent but very different from an EHX Bass Clone.

I like your cable management

Fyi I bought this for sax originally and although it worked well the controls are horrendously complicated. Was also fine on bass but I can do the same with other things now so got rid of it. Wouldn’t say I didn’t care for it other then the complicated controls though.

Yeah I like to keep things neat, lol.

Neat as in “No Ice” ha ha

As the matter of fact that pedalboard has its cable management as well as connectivity the economy of efforts prevented me from spending the extra few minutes to figure it out. Lol.
