GAS - Gear Acquisition Syndrome (Part 1)

I had a black NT Rock Bass Streamer for a while. Great bass to play but the black finish is a nightmare if you can’t live with permanent finger smudges

I like the trans blue as well

I was thinking about that since it’s only gloss finish, but then meh.

Eh trying isnt a possibility, as per usual.
What did you not like about feel?
I read that some people dont like its chunkier neck compared to Spector. However I like chunkier neck.

Satin black?

It’s actually not very chunky, it’s nice.

It was mostly about the position of the frets when it hung normally on my straps. It kind of felt like it was about 2cm to the left of what I was used to and it just kind of bugged me. YMMV. They are definitely good solid buys.

Hey man, if you’re just giving up a pistol you don’t even use… why not?

Looking at the pictures, it seems that the strap button is located over the 14th fret instead of the 12th (as per usual). Could that have something to do with it?

High gloss

Maybe, but then again, look at my SBV, which feels even better than my P-bass

15th fret there

I think it is actually due to the bridge and body positioning on the Streamer. Combined with personal preference and so on.

They are great instruments though, I think it was a me thing.

Btw how was the balance when on strap with Streamer 5 you had?
Did it have much neck dive?

I didn’t realise they’d started offering the curved body with the bolt ons, that’s a nice upgrade!

I love the Honey Violin, but the blue looks great too.

Natural looks good on Warwick!

Oh yeah, I was amazed how much they make sure even the Chinese made instuments are top notch.

Honey Violin is my fav atm too, looks like aged natural. Might change till I order

No, balance was fine.

I’ve seen some deceptive images of that colour online.
This pic of my NT1 is pretty accurate.

I’m with Al, go bruins! Get the yellowish color.

I don’t like the Bruins. Although I do like Connor Clifton. I still say blue. Go Rangers!

Back in the days of colorful chef coats, I used to wear a Yellow Clogs and depending on the day and clientele I’d wear either Blue chef coat or Red chef coat. Lol.

That color looks even better in person.

The NT is a really nice bass, you’re getting close to the MIG there. Definitely a step above the normal LX, if you don’t mind the weight.
