GAS - Gear Acquisition Syndrome (Part 1)

I would like to get a few nicer stands. I am torn between these two. Any opinions of which looks nicer?

Both are cool. I’d make sure whichever one you choose is f*¢#ing stable, though. :face_with_peeking_eye:

Yes. Reviews seem good. I will for sure test it with my inexpensive 6 string Ibanez (Which is amazing for the $349 price tag BTW) for a while

I second the bottom one, unless the guitar is included with the first.

How odd - I can only see the top stand if I use a different browser. I don’t think it’s a script problem, as I checked that.

Anyway, I like the top one better, but only IF it is stable.

Edited to add: Ok, NOW the top image is visible in this browser, after viewing other threads and returning to this one. I didn’t do nuthin’ else, no idea why it showed up finally. Carry on, no need to discuss, just my glitch of the day.

Bottom it is. Thanks guys! I was leaning a bit that way.

I prefer the look of the top one!

Tough call I feel like the top is more stable but the bottom one is a looker.

I went with bottom. We will see.

Well it depends on what you plan to play with it !

Well fellas, I’ve decided I’m gonna go Warwick route.
Spent few days obtaining info, and it’s much better value and probably better suited towards me than Spector. But seems I’ll have to wait a few months for it.

So findings are next, they are using most of German parts:

  • Good multiple steps QC, Warwick is also asking from distributors to recheck
  • 34’’ scale with good B string
  • Lightweight, around 4kg or 8.8lbs
  • Warwick 2 piece bridge with adjustable string width and better string tension cause of bigger angle on saddles
  • Adjustable nut height
  • Quick access to nut and electronics pocket
  • Huge allen key in the box, something like those big Fender ones
  • Graphite layer inside electronics cavity
  • Laminated neck
  • Warwick lightweight tuners
  • Security strap locks in the box
  • Gigbag included
  • MEC pups (not some generic ones)
  • 2 band preamp
  • Awesome woodgrain, if you pick transparent colors
  • Arched body
  • Reinforced neck with additional poles

I honestly can’t decide which color to pick.

@Shibata @MikeC

I had same feeling I saw it first, but then I saw that orangeish honey.
I’m much more into it since I already had Trans Satin Blue Ray4.

Truth be told, they all look good.

Nice! I’ve owned two red Rockbass Streamer LX’s, a 4 and a 5; they are nice basses. You’ll be happy. I would suggest you try one first (in the end they weren’t for me - just a feel thing, nothing wrong with the bass).

I regretted not going with the blue at the time so I vote blue.

The gold or the blue, but honestly, they all look nice
