Congrats! I’m on my 3rd Rumble. Great amps for the money.

I can see yours sitting on a hard floor. You might want to consider getting an Auralex GRAMMA v2 acoustic isolator. I’ve been using them for years. The mid-sized one is perfect for the larger Rumbles (100/200/500/800). I use the small one for my Studio 40 and the mid size for my GR Bass AT Cube 500 + 112 cab.

Auralex GRAMMA v2

Updated practice area. Genuine question should I have a carpet on top of the hard tiles? Would this help the tone/sound quality?

Find yourself a good rug that pulls the room together, man.

Snap up a Hoffner C-2 whilst their still available. Nice one on Seattle CL right now.

How much reverb do you like?

Guessing the room is pretty big, and an area rug in your practice space won’t do too too much tonally because of that and all the hard surface walls - but, if you want some comfort and stylee… then yes.

I have that exact same stool. Oh, and the same SR - but left handed

Which SR do you have?

Mine are an SR 600 and an SR 3500 Prestige

Folks, I just accidentally ordered a Sire Marcus Miller V7 Swamp Ash Reissue in the Tabacco Sunburst color and I don’t have the willpower to cancel the order.

Your V7 is beautiful, so feel free to keep it and play it in good health. :+1:

Man, I hate when I accidentally click “add to cart”. Then accidentally click on “check out”. Then accidentally go into the other room to get my credit card and then accidentally type all the info in.

And worst of all is when, after all that, I accidentally click “Submit order”

Happens way too often .

Congrats!

Welp… We all have to live with our mistakes.

Listen, I had no part in this. I was minding my own business, scrolling through guitarcenter, Sweetwater and American Musical, lusting over things as we do. My phone’s autofill did the rest. :innocent:

Can’t wait to see it for real!

A couple of fingers of scotch afterwards helps to forget all those accidents!

See that has the opposite effect for me

My first bass was the Yamaha TRBX 304. I played that for a year before getting my new mainstay, the MIM 2014 Geddy Fender Jazz. LOVE that thing.

Today, my local music store was having a clear-out sale of demo and used equipment. Lots of half-off deals. One of those deals was the Yamaha TRBX 504 for only $400 CDN. That’s half price. It is used but the body is in impeccable shape, and I LOVE the matt black.

Now I have to pick a song for it’s inaugural recording.

The 504 is a great bass!

Now I have to find a buyer for the 304. I don’t expect it will be difficult to sell. It’s an amazing beginner bass, and was chosen via Josh’s review video.
